Brookfield pediatric therapy specialist Linda AntonLinda Anton, MS, CCC-SLP

Linda is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with more than 20 years of experience. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of children ages birth to 3, oral motor/feeding, American Sign Language training, and animal assisted therapy. Over the years, Linda has been involved with the hands-on treatment of children, program development and service on various advisory boards. She is a frequent presenter at professional organizations, including programs for the Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Professional Association. Linda received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Marquette University.

Brookfield, Wis., pediatric therapist Kris GehringerKris Gehringer, PT

 Kris graduated from Marquette University in 1976 with a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy. She has more than 25 years of  pediatric experience and has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including hospital, school and outpatient clinics, both as a clinician and clinical supervisor. Kris is NDT certified and her clinical areas of interest include neurologic disorders, cerebral palsy, Birth to Three and post surgical rehab. Kris has presented to a variety of audiences on topics including long term results of TAL's; providing effective and successful therapy treatment in a natural environment and gross motor development in typically developing children.

Katy is an occupational therapist who specializes in the treatment of children in the clinic and home settings. Her interests include fine motor development, handwriting and sensory integration. She also has experience with myofascial release and therapeutic listening.

Erin is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a bachelor of science degree in communicative disorders and a master of science degree in speech language pathology. Erin works with children in many areas of speech-language pathology, including language, articulation, phonology, fluency and voice therapy. She is trained in sign language and incorporates this into a majority of her speech and language sessions. Her special interests are early childhood and children with speech/language disorders.

Jill has been providing physical therapy to children in the clinic and home settings for more than 15 years. She works with children with issues related to premature birth, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, torticollis, and genetic disorders. Jill is certified in Neurodevelopment Treatment and has additional training in kinesiotaping for pediatrics, Advanced Handling and Problem Solving for pediatrics, and the Boehme Workshop on the hypotonic child. Jill graduated from UW-La Crosse with a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy. She believes creativity, patience and clinical experience will create an enriching environment in which each child can reach his or her highest potential.

Mary is a graduate of Marquette University with a master’s degree in speech language pathology. She enjoys working with children in the areas of language, articulation and phonology.

Pam is a graduate of Mount Mary College with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. She has been a therapist for more than 20 years and has taken extensive continuing education in the area of baby development. Nick is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in pediatrics. Since 1997, he has worked with children in the assessment and treatment of receptive and expressive speech-language delays and disorders, apraxia, voice disorders, fluency, oral-motor/feeding difficulties, autism and Down syndrome. Nick has received advanced training in the areas of oral-motor feeding skills, ribcage handling, baby treatment, and augmentative and alternative communication. He received his bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from Purdue University and his master’s degree from Marquette University.

Sue received her master's degree in speech language pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has worked with children with speech and language delays and feeding delays for the past 13 years. Sue is also certified to teach Hanen, a program that educates parents and caregivers to help a child's language development in his or her natural environment.

Tiffany is a 1989 graduate of Mount Mary College with a degree in occupational therapy. She also has been a massage therapist since 1995. Tiffany has treated pediatric patients for more than 20 years and enjoys working in the area of infant massage and handwriting.

 

Lexi Barian, MS, CCC-SLP

Lexi earned a Bachelors Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders and is a 2012 graduate of UW-Whitewater with a  Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.  She currently treats children and adults in all areas of speech pathology including dysphasia, cognition, articulation, language, voice, dysarthria, aphasia, and fluency. Lexi has a special interest in the areas of  autism, American Sign Language, and voice treatment.
